East Kent NARPO Welfare Your branch of NARPO has a dedicated Welfare team, together with your area’s committee member and newsletter deliverers strife to ensure that the branch is made aware of as many welfare issues as possible.

 

We have two main funds that we can call on to assist with the purchase of an assortment of aids to make life more comfortable for our members. These are, the Force Benevolent Fund and the branch’s own William Thrift Fund.

 

Applications to these funds are made via your branch Welfare representatives following contact with the member who requires assistance. For example, we have managed to receive assistance for the purchase of wheelchairs, stair lifts, walking aids, wet rooms, travel expenses and lots more.

 

If we are unable to assist ourselves we normally know someone who can. If you have a welfare issue speak to your committee member, if they are unavailable contact one of the welfare representatives:
